Red Sox ‘don’t know’ what they’ll do after firing Cora

The Boston Red Sox sound as if they are still reeling from Alex Cora's dismissal. At a press conference on Wednesday, owner John Henry said the club will miss Cora, who led the team to a 2018 World Series crown, but was fired this week after being named as one of the key figures in a cheating scandal. “It was a sad day because we all have such respect for Alex,” said chairman Tom Werner, who was one of several Red Sox officials keeping in touch with the deposed manager since his departure.
